Imperial Shih Tzu & Chinese Imperial Dog breeder in Utah, tiny teacup Imperial Shih Tzu puppies for sale.
ScallyWag Shih Tzu is a small Utah breeder of the Chinese Imperial Dog, commonly called the Imperial Shih Tzu. We breed our Chinese Imperial Shih Tzu for beautiful babydoll faces, short, smushy, high set noses, big bright eyes with no visible eye white, cute cobby bodies, superior health and temperament! Our Chinese Imperial puppies typically range from 3-9lbs. at adulthood, the perfect portable size! Although we do not intentionally try and produce any puppies less than 4lbs (Teacup Shih Tzu) at maturity (they are at higher risk for health problems), we do occasionally get teacup puppies that mature at under 4lbs. They are always thoroughly examined by a veterinarian and only placed in loving pet homes if they are of excellent health and require no "special" care (other than slightly more frequent feedings and a little nutri-cal once in a while), as a puppy requiring "special" care is usually not a healthy puppy. Also, if you suffer from allergies Chinese Imperial Dogs & Shih Tzus are very allergy friendly, my husband has allergies and has never had any problems with our sweet Shih Tzu babies.
These gorgeous tiny Shih Tzu and Chinese Imperials are often called a number of things including: toy Shih Tzu, teacup Shih Tzu, and miniature Shih Tzu, tiny Shih Tzu, Imperial Shih Tzu, Chinese Imperial Dogs, pocket or purse puppies, Imp's and CID's. Since we are a small breeder we only have a few litters available each year, all our Imperial Shih Tzu Puppies are "kitchen raised" and handled daily by our children and their friends. Our Imperial Shih Tzu adults and puppies are groomed frequently at a very early age and will be accustomed to having their toenails trimmed, ears cleaned, and having their coat brushed and trimmed which will make it a lot easier for you to properly groom your new Chinese Imperial Dog when it comes home to you! We have also been very successful with potty training our tiny Imperial puppies to use wee wee pads which makes house breaking a lot easier!
We have had many compliments from visitors on how well socialized, friendly, beautiful, and happy our Imperial Shih Tzu family is. All of our Teacup Imperial Shih Tzu Puppies are sold with a written 1 year genetic health guarantee, AVID microchip, current vaccines, de-worming, vet check-up, and a lifetime of support! Contact Us for more info. or if you are interested in a beautiful Chinese Imperial Dog! All of our adults are registered with the AKC.
